For our faithful followers we are happy to report we are back on the road and will keep the blog current so everyone can follow the adventure. To catch everyone up to speed (because we definitely didn't keep the blog updated for the last week or so) we have officially taken off on our major road trip. After a couple days of preparing for the trip and a great vacation to Boston and Maine with my girlfriend we are westbound! I'm typing from the pothole-ridden lanes of I-20, which will be our main route for the next couple days. Vicksburg, Mississippi is our destination for the evening after an approximate 7 hour truck ride.
We have arrived and setup our home in Mississippi for the next day or two in Vicksburg, which is right on the Mississippi River and Louisiana state line. We had a pretty uneventful night, just cruising the town and buying some supplies for the next week. Cheggy the tour guide has been doing some research on some things we can do tomorrow, so stay posted.
